39th Annual Old Wethersfield Arts & Crafts Fair Awards 2021

With the beautiful weather, the bustle of the crowd,  and the sheer number and variety of vendors, it’s easy to forget that the Old Wethersfield Arts & Crafts Fair is a  juried event. All vendors have been curated through a rigorous application process and are unique in their own right. A distinguished panel of judges reviewed each booth on the day of the Fair and gave the following awards.

Best in Show – MCK Original Designs, LLC

Wethersfield’s own Michele Cottone Kriticos won on her very first visit to OWACF. At left is WHS Executive Director, Amy Northrop Wittorff.

Best Artisanship – Whimsicalia & Missy Clay Works

This year’s prize was split between Judy Buffolino and Missy Niemeyer.

Favorite Returning Artist – Round Hill Alpacas

Craft Fair is always happy to see Randy and Cindy Hall (and whoever they happen to bring with them to the party).

Favorite New Addition – Mount Cornwall Bindery

Congratulations to all the award winners!

Wethersfield Historical Society would like to thank all our volunteers, all participating vendors, the Town of Wethersfield, Kathy Bagley, Rachael Mattioli, Show Director Elizabeth White-Peters, and everyone who came out on Saturday to make Craft Fair such a successful event.
