Wethersfield Historical Society is proud to announce our participation in 2022’s Old Wethersfield PorchFest. (All Wethersfield Historical Society performances will take place on the Time’s Fool stage set up on the grounds between the Keeney Memorial Cultural Center (200 Main Street) and the historic Hurlbut-Dunham House (212 Main Street). There is no admission charge.This year we are sponsoring three unique performances by equally unique artists. At 11:00 am, The Jolly Beggars kick off the day’s festivities. At 2:00 pm, Sea chanteyman Don Sineti presents a series of a capella maritime work songs selected to complement our River, Land, and Sea: Wethersfield’s Maritime History exhibit. He will also accompany himself on a set of 18th & 19th century ballads. Closing out WHS’ contribution to PorchFest will be a special guest artist to be named later who will perform at 4:00 pm.
