Additional Information on the local Burying Grounds:

The Ancient Burying Ground and Village Cemetery are central to the town’s past, while remaining an active burial location. If you are searching for a grave and cannot locate it within this site, please be patient as we continue to work towards plotting the entire location with over 4,000 markers. For additional information on this project or finding an ancestor please contact Wethersfield Historical Society.

For Information on burials and care of the cemetery:

Please remember that visitors to the Village Cemetery and Old Burying Ground are requested not to apply any substances to enhance photography. Gravestone rubbings are not allowed as well.
