Hearth Cooking Demonstration a great success

On Sunday afternoon, January 26, Wethersfield Historical Society executive director Amy Wittorff presented a hearth cooking demonstration at the historic home of Paul Bourdon. (Mr. Bourdon’s home was scrupulously restored to its 1637 state by previous owners Paul and Donna Courchaine). Participation was limited to only six people, owing to space limitations imposed by the size of the hearth itself. Judging from the overwhelmingly positive response to both the workshop and the food, it is almost a certainty WHS will do another of this type of event. Please check back here and our Facebook page often so as not to miss out on these unique opportunities.

Workshop attendees enjoy good food and good company that are the hallmark of many WHS events.
