On Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the Keeney Memorial Cultural Center, come join the Wethersfield Historical Society and many of the areas finest (and certainly most popular) restaurants for the XIV Annual Taste of Wethersfield™. Do not miss the tastiest time in town! Enjoy lively musical entertainment from the Hot Cat Jazz Band while you immerse yourself in the inspired dishes from some of the best restaurants and caterers in the Greater Hartford community. Participating restaurants and vendors will include Ascot Catering, Bourassa Catering & Events, Cafe Louise, Carbone’s Ristorante, Carmela’s Pasta Shop, Edo Ichi, El Pollo Guapo, Lucky Lou’s Bar & Grill, Old Wethersfield Country Store, Pasta Vita, Puerto Vallarta Newington, River, a Waterfront Bar and Grill, ShopRite of East Hartford and Manchester, The Cove Deli, Utsav, Village Pizza, and Vito’s Restaurant. Savor a variety of great wines and beers that pair well with the food tastings and put in your bid for some of the great items at our silent auction. Celebrate with friends and try new things at this fun event that helps fund Wethersfield Historical Society’s free or low cost educational and cultural programming for children and adults. For one price, attendees gain access to all the food and drink at the event. Tickets are on sale now. General admission tickets are $30 when purchased in advance through Friday, April 5th at 4:00 pm. After that, tickets will still be available online and at the door, but the price goes up to $35. They can be purchased online here or by mailing a check and this form to our administrative offices at 150 Main Street, Wethersfield, CT 06109 or coming in person from 10am-4pm Tuesday through Friday. Patron tickets can be purchased online here, via mail or in person at the administrative offices at 150 Main Street for $55. Patrons enjoy early admission at 6:00 pm with full access to the food, drink and entertainment, as well as a special prize drawing just for them. Additionally, $20 of the patron ticket price is tax deductible. This event is only open to attendees 21 and over.
