The Food that Built America Season 2 is the third production in three years that has selected Wethersfield and the Wethersfield Historical Society properties to produce their work. “We are pleased the production companies describe our town and WHS as ‘film friendly’”, said Rental Coordinator Jill Fletcher. “The production managers and location scout team shared that they love the exterior shots in a village setting, the easy load-in with our spacious parking lot and the value of our relationships with area catering firms and other vendors-and the availability of classrooms that allow space for craft services, hair, make-up, and wardrobe. Despite long hours, it is always a pleasant experience to work with film industry professionals that respect and appreciate the age of the buildings and share our museums and collection objects with millions of interested people across the country.”
