In spite of the closure to the public of the Wethersfield Museum in the Keeney Memorial Cultural Center and our administrative offices and research library at the Old Academy, history continues to happen every day. In response, the society is offering virtual equivalents of our traditional exhibits, tours, concerts, and lectures in hopes of continuing to fulfill our mission of “preserving and promoting Wethersfield’s history and culture to inspire people today and tomorrow”. This page is will serve as a chronological index to all the ever-expanding list of virtual content being generated by the Wethersfield Historical Society in the order they have been posted. In addition, it will also highlight opportunities where you can interact with WHS. There are links where you can contribute your experiences to our Chronicling COVID-19 exhibit-in-progress and submit your nominations to the planned Women of Wethersfield exhibit.
WHS would like to thank the generosity of our donors and the Robert Allan Keeney Memorial Fund at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving for making this content possible.
