The Wethersfield Historical Society is always seeking volunteers at The Wethersfield Museum, Hurlbut-Dunham House and Cove Warehouse. Flexible scheduling, no experience necessary and training provided! Meet new people, learn about Wethersfield’s History, serve your community and have fun too! Interested in volunteering in another way? Just let us know and we would be happy to find a perfect fit!
There are many volunteer opportunities at Wethersfield Historical Society, and we truly need you! The donation of your time and talents makes a great difference as we preserve and promote Wethersfield’s history and culture to inspire people today and tomorrow. Today, as it has always been, the society is governed by volunteers who serve on our Governing Board. Community members volunteer to staff the Keeney Center and our historic buildings; they volunteer in our library, help prepare our mailings and help with collections and exhibits. Volunteers conduct research and write articles for our website. They play characters and support our Lantern Light Tours. They run our fundraisers and staff special events.
Whether you have one hour a month or ten hours a month to give, enjoy working on short term projects or you can commit to a longer term project, or you are looking for an opportunity to exercise your skills – Wethersfield Historical Society can use your talents.
