In 2018, Wethersfield Historical Society installed the commemorative brick courtyard pictured above in the rear of the Keeney Memorial Cultural Center. Thanks to the generosity of its members and the wider community who ordered them in advance, many of the bricks are engraved with the names of departed loved ones or the names of the living who simply “love Wethersfield”.

 

You may have noticed as you entered the Keeney is that there are many spaces remaining  that could be filled with your remembrance or message. Bricks are still available and can be purchased for $150 each. They may be engraved with up to 3 lines. Each line allows for a maximum of 13 characters, including spaces. While our engraver is willing to produce bricks piecemeal as orders arrive, he does require a minimum order of ten bricks. Orders will be placed when at least ten have been received.
